Infinite Connections.

We have come to have a great understanding of the African market and we use our expertise there whenever we can, to create ever-competitive offering and opportunities.

We often work in close collaboration with our African partners, training local teams to new technologies and new solutions, and creating new work opportunities for the local manpower.

Our investments in Africa are not only in technological advancements but also in human capital. It is our aim to continue our investments and our expansion on the African continent, because we believe there still are tremendous growth opportunities.

Here are some of our greatest successes in Africa.

Intercel Guinée SA - Guinea
The Intercel Group is a private telecommunications company that designs, installs and operates local and national cellular telecommunications networks in sub-Saharan Africa. Intercel has been operating in Africa since 1985. Intercel Guinee SARL provides telecommunication services including cellular connections. The company is based in Guinea. Today the company connects Madagascar, DRC, and Guinea to both national and international long distance lines.

Sierratel - Sierra Leone
Sierratel is the national telecommunications company, of Sierra Leone, launched by President Ernest Bai Koroma as part of his government's commitment to providing essential services to the people of Sierra Leone.

Vivacell, South Sudan
Vivacell, South Sudan, launched its GSM network with coverage of a million people. The operation has been launched by the Lebanese investment group, Fattouch Investment Group, after it bought the wireless licensee Network of the World (NOW) in 2007. Vivacell is the commercial name.

"Our long-term goal is to get as many mobile phones into people's hands as possible so that relatives abroad can get in touch," Richard Herbert, NOW's operations director told Reuters in an interview. "For most people, receiving phone calls is more important than making them because they don't have the buying power yet."
